Dr. Ajay Kela, President and CEO, Wadhwani Foundation was part of one of the panel discussions held at the first American Bazaar Philanthropy Dialogue at Washington DC on October 18, 2014.
The event brought under one roof various stakeholders and leaders from the Indian American philanthropic community and philanthropic Indophiles to brainstorm ‘giving’ in both countries. Also discussed were ways of optimizing fundraising from Indian Americans and others, through micro-donations; challenge grants, civic crowdfunding, venture philanthropy, giving circles, and capacity-building philanthropy.
Dr. Kela talks about the foundation and its high-impact initiatives and explains how they are driving economic acceleration in India through leveraging India’s human potential.
